What is Expressable and what would be your duties?

 Unlike many of the other teletherapy roles, Expressable would hire you as a W2 worker.  They hire for fully remote teletherapy roles that offer annual compensation but still with flexibility. And you do not have to work in a particular state. 

On average their SLPs who work 40 total hours per week earn between $72,000-$86,000 per year.

 They have a growing community of over 160 SLPs. 

 

Depending upon your ideal start date, they typically hire SLPs licensed in California, Texas, Georgia, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, Florida, Illinois, Ohio, and Tennessee.  

Generally, they have full-time positions available at 32, 36, or 40 total hours/week. We are also able to provide start dates as far as 6 months in advance. 

 

Common Responsibilities

  • Provide speech therapy sessions and evaluations for a diverse client population, covering Expressable’s Core Clinical Areas including but not limited to early language development, pediatric articulation/phonological disorder, pediatric fluency/stuttering, pediatric receptive-expressive language disorder, pediatric/adolescent social pragmatics, autism spectrum disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, adult Articulation, adult fluency/stuttering, pediatric developmental cognition.

  • Diagnose, treat, and develop care plans for clients with the support of Expressable tools and resources, with a focus on high-quality clinical outcomes, encouraging client/caregiver buy-in and education.

  • Complete documentation for sessions and evaluations in accordance with Expressable’s quality and timeliness standards.

  • Fulfill all required trainings, client communications, screenings, licensing and credentialing tasks, and internal communications in a timely manner.

  • Provide PTO and sick coverage for sessions and evaluations as needed to ensure continuity of care of Expressable clients.

  • Pursue ongoing professional development through Expressable resources, mentorship, and monthly Grand Rounds with fellow clinicians and clinical leaders.
