Sword Health is a telehealth company that uses technology to monitor certain outcomes as well as skilled therapy to help people reduce their pain and improve their mobility.

 

Who do they hire:

  • Physical Therapists (as of 2023, they are looking to expand to SLP and OT soon so keep any eye out)
  • They hire only DPTs and prefer 2 years outpatient experience

 

What do they pay:

  • They offer full time benefits and PTO for all roles
  • We offer full time variable hour roles. They guarantees 20 hours a week at a $50k base with availability to flex up to 40 hours a week with an hourly rate at $38.
  • This allows PTs to test the digital health waters, making sure they want to make the jump fully without leaving their clinic/outpatient/inpatient role right away.

What you will need:

For SLPS:

  • Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure where residing and where performing teletherapy services
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s)
  • Computer and technical skills
  • Reliable Wi-Fi/Internet Access including a computer with a webcam 

Preferred:

  • Teletherapy experience
  • Two + years experience working in schools

 

For OTs:

Required:

  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Active state licensure where residing and where performing teletherapy services.
  • NBCOT Certification.
  • Basic computer and technical skills (you’ll be using a webcam).
  • Reliable Wi-Fi/Internet Access including a computer with a webcam.

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of experience, preferably in a K-12 setting.
  • Online therapy experience.

Pay: A provider's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. $40 - $55 per hour.

The difference between this company positions and others is that you are W2 and not a contractor!

Requirements:

    • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
    • Currently possess SLP board license in state of residence 
    • CCCs: Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency

    • Documentation of School-Based Services, Including IEPs: At least 1 year of experience
    • Continuing Education: Complete continuing education to maintain CCCs and licensure.

    Strongly Preferred Qualities

    • Experience with pediatric patients

    Compensation: $40-48 per hour based on experience.  Or $60,000 to $68,000 per year for full time salaried providers (40 hrs/week).

Requirements:

  • Professional License
  • Minimum of 10 hours daytime availability
